*Update* A Friend In Need *Update*

Blood work has come back for Saffron. The doctors have found that the cancer is in his liver and spleen. Although he doesn't seem to be in any pain or feel uncomfortable in any way, the doctors said it is only a matter of time...

Although the news isn't the best we were hoping for, we're still glad to know we will have Sweet Saffron in our lives for a bit longer. Thank you all for your prayers and good vibes.

May God bless you dear Saffron and your loving owners not wait until you are suffering to end your journey. So much better to go while you're still enjoying life than for it to be a relief to end your pain. You'll be chasing squirrels in Heaven and waiting for your people at the Rainbow Bridge. I hope that you know how very loved you are.

Hey guys, I saw you on the DWB's news and wanted to drop by and offer support.

We are very sorry about Saffron..... Does he have hemagiosarcoma?

Sorry this seems kid of random but I have quite a few health issues so my mum is always researching researching and researching. Recently, she found out from my breeder that my aunt who is a year older than me (12 years old) was diagnosed with lymphoma, another very aggressive cancer. So mum freaked out because I'm closely related to the 12 year old girl, and also, I have a 4 year old nephew too, so we're like ALLL RELATED! Mum has been reading a lot about cancer prevention and came across cancer treatments using "Artemisinin". Maybe you can google that and read up on it. If you want more info, you can drop by my bloggie and I'll pawsonally make sure mum contacts you. She is putting both me and my nephew on it for preventative measures. However, most people are using it on their pets with active cancer. Mum also has me and STINKY on K9 Immunity as preventative, but most dogs are on it to fight cancer.

Good luck with Saffron, you are a good friend.

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade

Hello there...
I'm popping by (from Mimi's blog) to send you lots and lots of love and strength during this very difficult time.
Each day is a blessing!...and becomes so much more meaningful when given news like this. Please always keep in mind...YOU are the one who knows your dog the best! Our Maxdog suffered a similar predicament and went on to live another 107 painfree days of Grace, following the Vet's prognosis!

"The Angels Are Waiting"

Over the golden hill,,,,
where the sun shines so bright,,
there is a Bridge.

And over the Bridge
up in the sky
there is a Rainbow
that glows both day and night.

I have seen the angels wait
with out stretched arms,,
waiting for our fur babies
as they cross.

I have heard the angels
hum songs
of peace and love
as they rock them gently.
I have seen the angels waiting
with out stretched arms.
